Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, compassionate nursing care to patients of all ages in a fast-paced emergency room setting.
- Administer medications accurately following the 7 Rights (Right Drug, Client, Dose, Time, Route, Reason, Documentation).
- Respond appropriately to emergency situations, demonstrating skills in ACLS, BLS, TNCC, PALS/ENPC.
- Educate patients and their families about care plans, discharge instructions, and health management.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations while documenting patient information securely.
- Collaborate effectively with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Required Qualifications
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher.
- Valid Colorado RN license or multistate RN license through the Nurse Licensure Compact.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
- Current certifications in BLS and ACLS from the American Heart Association.
- Certifications in PALS or ENPC.
- Ability to pass credentialing and background checks, including immunizations, drug screen, and TB test.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Certification in TNCC or NRP.
- Additional certifications such as CEN or NIHSS are a plus.
- Experience working in emergency or trauma settings.
