Key Responsibilities
- Provide perioperative nursing care in an outpatient surgical environment with 9 operating rooms.
- Assist in various specialties including Ophthalmology, Orthopedics, ENT, Gynecology, Urology, Endocrine, Surgical Oncology, Plastics, Robotics, and Total Joints.
- Maintain sterilization, safety protocols, and documentation throughout surgical procedures.
- Collaborate with surgical teams, surgeons, and support staff to ensure efficient case flow.
- Precept and support new team members as needed.
- Adhere to facility policies, including on-call and floating requirements within scope of practice.
Required Qualifications
- Valid SC or Compact Nursing License.
- Current BLS certification.
- Radiation badge provided by parent company.
- Minimum of 2 years of OR nursing experience.
- Certification in relevant specialties preferred.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in ophthalmology, orthopedics, ENT, gynecology, urology, endocrine, surgical oncology, plastics, robotics, total joints, or similar specialties.
- Well-rounded surgical background aligned with outpatient caseload.
