Key Responsibilities

• Assist licensed physical therapists in providing treatment to patients requiring rehabilitative therapy.
• Implement treatment plans and monitor patient progress under supervision.
• Document patient care activities and maintain accurate records.
• Support patients in performing prescribed exercises and activities.
• Ensuring patient safety and comfort during therapy sessions.
• Collaborate with the therapy team to develop individualized care plans.

Required Qualifications

• Valid State license or certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
• Proven experience or training in rehabilitative or physical therapy settings.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow treatment plans and maintain detailed documentation.
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology and patient care procedures.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience working in outpatient or inpatient rehabilitation settings.
• Knowledge of electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
• Bilingual abilities are a plus.
