Key Responsibilities

• Provide telemetry nursing care to patients, monitoring cardiac rhythms and responding to changes.
• Perform ECG and telemedicine tests during onboarding, adhering to strict pass/fail criteria.
• Float to similar units and overflow areas as needed, ensuring seamless patient care coverage.
• Follow established protocols and document care accurately, ensuring compliance with hospital standards.
• Participate in biweekly orientation sessions to stay current with facility policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Minimum of 2 years of Med Surg Telemetry experience.
• Ability to pass the Telemetry Competency Exam with a minimum score of 85%.
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Documented professional developmental activities.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Charge Nurse experience preferred.
• Knowledge of critical paths in patient care operations.

• Candidates must be at least 50 miles outside the facility area and not have worked at this facility in the past six months.
• Travelers who have worked within the last six months will not be considered.
• Orientation is biweekly.
