Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in a telemetry unit, monitoring cardiac rhythms and responding to patient needs.
• Float to similar units and overflow areas as needed to ensure adequate staffing coverage.
• Complete ECG/telemetry and medication testing during onboarding; pass/fail tests are administered remotely via Zoom prior to assignment.
• Follow all compliance requirements including flu vaccination, BILH coversheet submission, and adherence to facility protocols.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and maintain accurate patient documentation.

Required Qualifications

• Registered Nurse license in good standing.
• Minimum of 2 years of Medical-Surgical Telemetry experience.
• Ability to pass Telemetry Competency Exam during onboarding (85% passing score).
• Current AHA BLS Certification.
• ACLS certification required.
• Documented professional development activities.
• Knowledge of Critical Pathways; Charge Nurse experience preferred.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior charge nurse experience.
• Experience with telemetry systems and cardiac rhythm interpretation.

Additional Notes

• No local travelers or candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility will be considered.
• Orientation occurs biweekly.
• Candidates must be separated from the facility for at least six months if previously employed there within the last six months.
• Travelers must provide available interview dates and times at submission.
• All testing (ECG/Telemetry and Medications) must be completed within 48 hours of offer with a minimum score of 85%.
• RTO (Request for Time Off) must be submitted at the time of application.
