Key Responsibilities
• Evaluate, plan, direct, and administer physical therapy treatments as prescribed by a licensed physician.
• Perform treatments and physical agents to restore function and prevent disability following injury or illness.
• Develop and modify patient care plans based on ongoing assessments and communication with other care providers.
• Document all patient interactions thoroughly and accurately on the same day of treatment.
• Educate patients and families about treatment goals, procedures, and discharge planning.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and facilitate safe discharge strategies.

Required Qualifications
• Current or eligible for licensure as a Physical Therapist by the New Mexico Board of Physical Therapy.
• Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Strong understanding of physical therapy modalities, anatomy, and physiology.
• Experience working with diverse patient populations, including orthopedic, traumatic, and elective cases.
• Good communication skills with a team-oriented mindset.
