Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Rotating shifts, full-time
Key Responsibilities
- Provide emergency nursing care to patients in a busy ER setting
- Work a rotating Day/Night schedule with at least every other weekend shifts
- Assist in patient assessments, treatments, and procedures in a fast-paced environment
- Cover night shifts as needed, ensuring continuous patient care
- Participate in bi-weekly orientations and maintain accurate employment and work history records
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Active AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications, NIHSS, and TNCC prior to start
- Minimum of 2 years of ER nursing experience, preferably in large (500+ beds), teaching facilities
- Recent EPIC electronic medical record experience (within past 2 years)
- Willingness to work 2 out of 4 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, New Year’s Day)
- Reliable transportation, as public transit is not accessible in the area
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Certifications in CEN, ENPC, MOAB, or other de-escalation training such as CPS
- Prior travel nursing experience and experience in multiple ERs or large teaching hospitals
