Job Title
• Registered Nurse - ICU

• Sioux Falls, SD

Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, 12-hour night shifts, rotating or blocked schedule, including every other weekend and holiday, on-site

Key Responsibilities
• Provide direct patient care to a diverse ICU population on a 30-bed medical-surgical unit with critical care needs, including mechanical ventilation, oxygen therapy, and IV medication administration
• Monitor and manage patients with diagnoses such as pneumonia, COPD, CHF, COVID-19, pulmonary embolism, and other complex conditions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members including respiratory therapists, case managers, social workers, and physicians to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Complete documentation using Epic and operate medical equipment such as Alaris pumps, Acudose, and ventilator systems
• Demonstrate proficiency in respiratory procedures including BiPAP, CPAP, high-flow oxygen, and moderate sedation monitoring
• Participate in unit-specific training, orientation, and continuous professional development programs

Required Qualifications
• Current RN license in South Dakota or a compact state
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Experience with telemetry, medical-surgical patient care, and respiratory support equipment
• Ability to work scheduled rotating or blocked night shifts including weekends and holidays
• Must have prior experience or training in mechanical ventilation, oxygen titration, and moderate sedation

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Specialty certifications such as Progressive Care Nursing or Critical Care Nursing (preferred)
• Prior experience in ICU or pulmonary units with knowledge of complex respiratory interventions
• Familiarity with Epic documentation system and ventilator management
