Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality telemetry nursing care to adult patients, monitoring cardiac rhythms and responding to emergencies.
• Perform assessments, administer medications, and document patient status accurately.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Float to similar units and overflow areas as needed, ensuring seamless patient coverage.
• Complete required ECG/Telemetry and medication tests during onboarding; pass with a minimum score of 85%.
• Adhere to safety and compliance standards, including flu vaccination and certifications.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse license.
• Minimum of 2 years of Med Surg Telemetry experience.
• Ability to pass Telemetry Competency Exam with a score of 85% or higher.
• Current AHA BLS certification.
• AHA ACLS certification required.
• Documented professional developmental activities.
• Knowledge of critical paths and charge nurse experience preferred.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior charge nurse experience.
• Experience with critical pathways.
• Ability to perform well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
