Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care in a Level I Trauma Center’s operating room during scheduled shifts.
• Assist in surgical procedures across various specialties, including Trauma, Transplant, Orthopedics, Neuro, ENT, GYN, and Robotics.
• Float within scope to meet facility needs, supporting different surgical units and sister facilities as required.
• Adhere to safety and documentation protocols, ensuring proper charting in EPIC.
• Participate in on-call rotations, including up to four call shifts every four weeks and occasional weekend shifts.
• Support a busy, nurse-driven environment with cutting-edge technology and adherence to Magnet standards.

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in South Carolina or Texas (multi-state/compact preferred).
• BLS certification.
• Radiation badge (to be provided by agency).
• Minimum of 2 years of surgical or perioperative nursing experience strongly preferred.
• Willingness to float within scope and work flexible shifts.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior scrub experience in a surgical setting.
• Experience working in a Level I trauma or academic hospital environment.
