Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time – 40 hours per week, direct contract, on-site
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans to restore function, improve mobility, and relieve pain for residents.
- Assess patient needs, set achievable goals, and modify care plans under physician guidance.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to evaluate progress and adjust therapy strategies.
- Educate residents and their families on therapy methods and progress.
- Document patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress in compliance with regulations.
- Supervise and provide consultation to therapy assistants and support staff.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- Current Physical Therapist license in Montana.
- Valid CPR certification.
- At least six months of experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing environment preferred.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with MDS procedures and care planning in skilled nursing facilities.
- Knowledge of HIPAA, federal, and state regulations concerning therapy documentation.
- Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Strong organizational and confidentiality skills.
