Key Responsibilities
- Provide quality patient care in Intermediate Care, Progressive Care, and Stepdown units.
- Rotate between day and night shifts every four weeks, with 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM or 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM.
- Float to various units including ED holds, inpatient holds, PACU, and other boarding units as needed.
- Adhere to patient ratios of 1:3 to 1:5 and comply with floating protocols in 4-hour blocks.
- Complete required certifications and pass pre-employment testing, including day one pass/fail testing and Relias practice assessments.
- Follow all unit-specific protocols and ensure compliance with hospital policies.
Required Qualifications
- Valid and active Registered Nurse license in the state of Massachusetts.
- BLS (AHA) certification required.
- Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends and holidays.
- Flexibility to float to multiple units as needed.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Level 1 trauma experience highly preferred.
- ACLS (AHA) and NIHSS certifications are a plus.
- Prior experience in IMC, PCU, or Stepdown units preferred.
- Recent travel nursing experience or the ability to meet the 6-month separation requirement from previous employment with the health system.

Additional Information
- No holiday time off for Christmas will be approved.
- Every other weekend commitment required; weekends include Saturday and Sunday for days, Friday through Sunday for nights.
- Weekly start dates on Mondays.
- Contract guarantee of 72 hours biweekly, exclusive of on-call hours.
