Key Responsibilities

• Operate GE Signa Artist 1.5T MRI scanner for a variety of procedures including MSK, neuro, ortho, prostate, breast, MRCP, defecography, anesthesia, and pacemaker checks
• Perform high-quality, patient-centered MRI imaging ensuring accurate and comprehensive results
• Follow hospital protocols and safety guidelines, including maintaining patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures
• Collaborate with radiology team members and cross-train with staff as needed
• Manage patient flow, including patient positioning and preparing them for MRI procedures
• Document procedures accurately within the hospital’s EMR system (Epic) and PACS

Required Qualifications

• ARRT certification in MRI
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Valid registration with the ARRT in MRI with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
• Ability to perform complex MRI procedures independently
• Strong attention to detail and excellent patient care skills

Preferred Experience / Skills

• MRI registered with 3+ years of experience
• Experience with diverse MRI procedures such as MSK, neuro, and specialized protocols
• Knowledge of hospital safety and patient care protocols in a radiology setting
