- Full-time, night shifts, travel assignment, 13 weeks
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to ICU patients in a busy, open ICU setting.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Monitor and operate advanced equipment including cardiac monitors, vents, and other life support devices.
- Respond to Code Blue and Rapid Response Team activations, ensuring prompt and effective intervention.
- Document patient care accurately within the Electronic Medical Record system.
- Engage with patients and families using communication tools focused on patient-centered care.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of ICU nursing experience in medical-surgical or critical care units.
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
- Valid RN license for the state of practice (New Hampshire preferred).
- Proficiency in ventilator care, hemodynamic monitoring, and emergency procedures.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- CCRN certification or AIBP experience preferred.
- Experience with procedures such as PCI/STEMI, TEE, therapeutic hypothermia, and invasive monitoring.
- Familiarity with Meditech or similar documentation systems.
