Key Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy services to adult and geriatric patients across various hospital units, including ICU, step-down, oncology, medical/surgical, neuro/telemetry, renal, and orthopedic patients.
- Administer treatments in accordance with physician orders and clinical protocols, primarily on an outpatient basis, with occasional weekend availability.
- Document patient progress and treatment details using electronic health records system (EPIC).
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and hospital policies throughout all patient care activities.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Missouri State License for Physical Therapist Assistants
- BLS certification
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an acute hospital setting
- Experience with adult and geriatric patient populations across multiple units including ICU, step-down, oncology, medical/surgical, neuro/telemetry, renal, and orthopedic units
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous experience with EPIC charting system
- Ability to work flexible schedules or accommodate block scheduling (not required)
- Ability to float within scope to meet facility needs (not required)
