Key Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient physical therapy services to a diverse patient population, including orthopedic and neuro diagnoses.
- Conduct 60-minute evaluations and treat patients with sessions typically lasting 30, 45, or 60 minutes based on individual needs.
- Manage a caseload by scheduling approximately 14 evaluations per week, with the remaining time dedicated to treatments.
- Perform chart reviews twice daily for 30 minutes (for 8-hour shifts) or three times daily for 30 minutes (for 10-hour shifts).
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including PTs, PTAs, OTs, SLPs, and medical providers within a business casual environment.
- Receive Epic EMR training during orientation and adapt to facility-specific documentation requirements.
Required Qualifications
- State license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Missouri (pending license accepted).
- Willingness to accept new graduates and first-time therapists.
- BLS certification preferred.
- Flexibility to float within scope if needed, although floating to sister facilities is not required.
- Ability to work independently in a patient-centered outpatient setting.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous outpatient therapy experience is a plus but not required.
- Knowledge of orthopedic, neuro, pelvic health, lymphedema, or chronic pain therapy areas is desirable.
- Comfortable managing a variety of diagnoses and patient types.
