Key Responsibilities
- Provide patient care in the medical-surgical and telemetry units.
- Monitor and respond to patient needs during night shifts.
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure quality patient outcomes.
- Document patient information accurately and thoroughly.
- Assist with patient assessments and prepare patients for procedures as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Valid in-state Indiana RN license.
- BLS certification required; NIHSS preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of registered nurse experience in a hospital setting.
- Comfortable with charge coverage responsibilities, including possible unit charge nurse duties with provided training.
- Willing to work 2 out of 3 major holidays.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in medical-surgical or telemetry units.
- Prior night shift nursing experience.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
