Key Responsibilities
• Provide specialized perioperative nursing care in the Operating Room for various surgical procedures, including trauma, neuro, orthopedic, plastic, gynecology, ENT, GU, colorectal, and robotics cases.
• Circulate and scrub as needed, ensuring the smooth operation of surgical cases while maintaining patient safety and comfort.
• Float within scope to meet facility needs, supporting multiple surgical specialties.
• Adhere to hospital policies, including on-call requirements, and work 2-3 major holidays per year.
• Maintain current certifications and compliance with trauma level I experience requirements.

Required Qualifications
• Indiana state RN license with active, in-hand certifications (BLS, Trauma Level I experience).
• Minimum of 2 years of perioperative nursing experience, with at least 1 year in Level 1 trauma.
• Experience circulating in the OR; scrub experience preferred.
• Ability to work on-call shifts, including evenings and weekends.
• Willingness to float within scope to meet operational needs.

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience working with Cerner charting system.
• Comfort working in fast-paced, diverse surgical environments, including trauma and specialty surgeries.
• Knowledge of robotics-assisted procedures.

• Local candidates within Indiana preferred; travel nurses residing within the state receive a bill rate adjustment.
• Effective from November 30, 2024, Indiana-based RN staff at this facility will no longer be permitted, except for perioperative, allied, and ambulatory roles.
