Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the performance of imaging studies in the Cardiac Catheterization and Electrophysiology Lab under the direct supervision of cardiologists or senior technologists.
• Ensure timely completion of all procedures while adhering to established protocols and safety guidelines.
• Prepare and maintain the Cath Lab environment, including equipment setup and calibration.
• Support patient care before, during, and after procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
• Accurately document procedures and maintain detailed records in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
• Collaborate effectively with the multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality cardiac imaging services.

Required Qualifications

• RCIS or CVT certification (must be attached to the application).
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications through the American Heart Association (must be attached).
• Minimum of 2 years recent experience as a Cath Lab Technologist.
• Ability to follow detailed protocols and prioritize tasks efficiently.
• Strong critical thinking and judgment skills in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience working in a hospital or community hospital setting.
• Familiarity with EMR systems used for cardiac imaging documentation.
• Flexibility to float to other adjacent units if necessary.
