Key Responsibilities
- Perform ultrasound procedures, including OB/GYN imaging, under the supervision of a radiologist or physician.
- Conduct ultrasound examinations in both ambulatory and hospital settings as ordered by healthcare providers.
- Ensure imaging quality meets established protocols for accurate diagnosis.
- Maintain equipment and patient safety standards during procedures.
- Document procedures and findings accurately in the patient’s medical record.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Less than 1 year of ultrasound or sonography experience.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification or obtain within 30 days of hire.
- Must be RDMS-OB Certified (Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer in OB/GYN).
- Registered in one of the following: ARDMS (OB/GYN), ARRT (S or BS), or CCI (RVS or RVT).
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience performing OB/GYN ultrasound procedures.
- Knowledge of ultrasound equipment maintenance and safety protocols.
