Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, day shifts, 3 shifts per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday), 12-hour shifts
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care in the operating room for various surgical procedures.
- Assist during surgeries, ensuring patient safety and adherence to protocols.
- Prepare and maintain surgical equipment, including robotic systems and specialized tools.
- Collaborate with surgical teams, including surgeons, anesthesiologists, and tech staff.
- FLOAT to all OR departments as needed to support clinical operations.
- Participate in on-call shifts as required, up to 6 per 13-week contract.
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license in Kansas or a Compact state.
- Minimum of 2 years of OR experience, with strong scrub skills.
- Experience with DaVinci robotic surgeries, large head and neck cases, neuro spine, or ex laparoscopic cases.
- BLS certification.
- Ability to work 12-hour days, scheduled Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday shifts.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in Orthopedics, General Surgery, Trauma, GYN, Urology, or Plastics.
- Additional certifications related to surgical specialties a plus.
