- Full-time, day shifts, 13-week travel assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to patients in IMC, PCU, and stepdown units, including post-surgical and medical patients.
- Monitor patient vital signs, administer medications, and manage IV therapies.
- Perform patient assessments and document findings accurately in the electronic medical record.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Manage specialized procedures such as chest tube management, epidural care, and cardiac medication administration.
- Respond promptly to patient needs and assist with rapid changes in patient conditions.
Required Qualifications
- Active state nursing license (RN).
- CPR and ACLS certifications.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in IMC, PCU, or stepdown units.
- Ability to work 12.5-hour day shifts.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with cardiovascular procedures and post-surgical cardiac patients.
- Knowledge of telemetry monitoring and IV pump management.
- Experience with open heart, TAVR, lobectomy, AAA repair, or vascular surgery patients within the past year.
