- Full-time, 12.5-hour shifts, day shift, travel assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care to labor and delivery patients in a high-volume hospital setting.
- Monitor fetal and maternal vital signs using electronic fetal monitoring and other equipment.
- Assist with various procedures including vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, and postpartum care.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes.
- Adhere to hospital policies, safety standards, and documentation requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery (L&D) experience.
- Valid nursing license and appropriate certifications.
- Current BLS/ACLS certifications.
- Certification in advanced fetal monitoring.
- Ability to float to related units such as MFMU, MOMB, NICU.
- Strong communication and adaptable personality.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Circulating experience in labor and delivery.
- Experience with high-risk pregnancies.
- Skilled in immediate newborn care.
- Outgoing and friendly demeanor.
