- Full-time, temporary travel assignment, night shifts
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care to critical care patients in the ICU setting
- Monitor patient conditions, including vital signs and response to treatment
- Perform procedures such as central line, chest tube, and arterial line insertions, as well as percutaneous tracheostomies
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Document patient care activities accurately in the electronic medical record system
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and protocols
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of North Carolina or ability to obtain
- Minimum of 2 years ICU experience, preferably in trauma or surgical ICU
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS
- Experience with ICU equipment such as Camino ICP, CRRT, EVD, wound vacs, arterial/CVC lines
- Ability to work night shifts and weekends as required
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Trauma and/or surgical ICU background
- TNCC and ATCN certifications

- Worksite: 509 Biltmore Avenue, Asheville, NC 28801
- Typical shifts: Nights (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM)
- Must be comfortable working every other weekend and on-call shifts
