Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, night shifts, 4 shifts per week, 12-hour shifts
Key Responsibilities
- Provide quality nursing care to patients in a Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and respond to patient needs accordingly
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Document patient assessments, care plans, and progress accurately
- Adhere to hospital policies, safety protocols, and compliance standards
- Collaborate effectively with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 18 months recent and permanent experience in Medical Surgical Telemetry
- Valid Ohio license or compact state license to practice as a Registered Nurse
- Current BLS and ACLS certification
- Ability to recognize ECG rhythms and respond appropriately
- Successful completion of medication safety and rhythm recognition assessments during orientation
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working at least every other holiday as scheduled
- Proficiency in telemetry monitoring and patient care in a fast-paced environment
