- Days, Full-time, 12-hour shifts, shift may vary based on managerial needs
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care in the CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating Room) setting
- Ensure patient safety and adherence to surgical protocols during cardiovascular procedures
- Collaborate with surgical teams to coordinate patient care before, during, and after operations
- Follow all safety and compliance guidelines to maintain a sterile and efficient environment
- Administer patient care and monitor vital signs throughout surgical procedures
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of recent CVOR nursing experience
- Valid nursing license in accordance with NLC guidelines (all travelers must be in compliance)
- Ability to work 10- or 8-hour shifts, with availability for call duty as required
- Must be available to work weekends on an as-needed basis
- BSN degree preferred
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous experience in cardiovascular surgical nursing or similar high-acuity environments
- Strong knowledge of cardiovascular procedures and operating room protocols
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced surgical setting
