Schedule / Job Type
- 13-week contract, Night shifts, 12-hour shifts
Key Responsibilities
- Provide patient care in the Intensive Medical Care (IMC), Progressive Care Unit (PCU), and Stepdown units
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, intervening as necessary to ensure safety and recovery
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with hospital policies
- Adhere to clinical protocols and safety standards to ensure high-quality care
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in IMC, PCU, or Stepdown units
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications
- Must be fully vaccinated and prepared to work major and minor holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s, and day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year’s Eve)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a fast-paced acute care setting
- Strong assessment and critical-thinking skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
