Schedule / Job Type
Full-time, night shifts, 4 shifts per week, 12 hours per shift
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care to patients in the Labor and Delivery unit
- Monitor and assess patient conditions during and after childbirth
- Document patient care interventions accurately using electronic medical records
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Work efficiently during weekend shifts as scheduled
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies and safety standards
Required Qualifications
- Valid licensure as a Registered Nurse in New Mexico or multi-state licensure
- Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, NRP, and AWHO
- Ability to work weekends and flexible hours
- Proficiency with Meditech or comparable EMR systems preferred
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior labor and delivery nursing experience (not required but preferred)
- Comfortable working in a critical access hospital environment
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
