Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, Midshift (3:00 PM - 11:30 PM), 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, 12-week assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Perform sterilization and processing of medical instruments in a sterile environment
- Ensure all equipment meets safety and quality standards
- Maintain accurate documentation of sterilization processes
- Support instrument preparation and transportation as needed
- Follow all hospital protocols and procedures for sterilization and processing
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Instrument Tech within sterile processing or related specialty
- Current BLS certification
- Ability to work within a fast-paced hospital environment
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety standards
- Basic understanding of medical equipment sterilization procedures
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Certification such as CRCST, CSPDT, or CASSPT
- Prior experience working during holiday shifts or in a hospital setting
- Familiarity with hospital sterilization equipment and protocols
