Job Title
• Medical Equipment Technician
Location
• Canton, GA
Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, 8-hour shifts, mid shifts (3:00 PM – 11:30 PM), 13-week assignment
Key Responsibilities
• Reprocess surgical instruments following strict sterilization protocols
• Assist with medical equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
• Ensure compliance with facility standards and safety regulations
• Support perioperative teams by preparing and handling surgical tools and equipment
• Maintain accurate documentation of reprocessing activities
Required Qualifications
• HSPA Certification (or similar accredited certification)
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical equipment reprocessing or a related field
• Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety procedures
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience with surgical instrument reprocessing in a healthcare setting
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of sterilization equipment and protocols
