• 13-week contract, dayshift, full-time (4x10-hour shifts)

Key Responsibilities

• Assist during surgical procedures by maintaining a sterile environment and providing instrumentation to the surgical team.
• Ensure the integrity of the sterile field and monitor the environment for contamination or safety hazards.
• Prepare and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment according to standards.
• Support patient transports, room turnovers, and preparation activities to facilitate smooth surgical workflows.
• Communicate effectively with the perioperative team, including participating in Time Out Processes, briefings, and debriefings.
• Maintain knowledge of current technologies, procedures, and instrumentation related to surgical services.
• Adhere to safety protocols, including HIPAA compliance and principles of a Just Culture.
• Perform other related duties as assigned to support surgical operations.

Required Qualifications

• Graduation from a Certified Surgical Technologist program or valid Licensed Surgical Technologist license in Colorado.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Ability to complete job-specific online training and access required computer systems.
• Proficiency in English, including reading and speaking skills.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience supporting Tier 1 surgical procedures.
• Familiarity with AORN standards and infection control protocols.
• Prior experience in a surgical or perioperative setting.
