Tech MLT/Medical Technologist/Clinical Lab Scientist

Job Title
• Medical Laboratory Technologist / Clinical Laboratory Scientist / Medical Laboratory Technician

Schedule / Job Type
• Nights, Contract, 13-week assignment

Key Responsibilities
• Perform laboratory testing and analysis within a high-volume clinical lab environment.
• Ensure accuracy and quality of all testing procedures according to regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with laboratory team to meet turnaround times and maintain workflow efficiency.
• Follow safety protocols and laboratory procedures diligently.
• Document and report findings accurately in the laboratory information system.
• Work scheduled hours from 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM, including select holidays as required.

Required Qualifications
• Minimum 2 years of experience in clinical laboratory testing within the specialty.
• Certification required: ASCP, AMT, or AAB.
• Experience with Cerner laboratory information system preferred.
• Must be a Medical Laboratory Technologist (MLT), Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS), or equivalent.
• Ability to work night shifts with a 10-hour shift schedule.

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Previous experience in a busy hospital or reference laboratory setting.
• Strong understanding of laboratory safety and quality assurance practices.
• Flexibility to work holidays, including major and minor holidays.
