- Full-time, travel, 13-week contract, onsite, day shifts
Key Responsibilities
- Provide emergency nursing care in a fast-paced ER environment with a focus on low to moderate acuity patients.
- Administer medications, perform IV starts, and manage pediatric and adult patients.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including physicians, techs, and unit staff on patient care.
- Adhere to unit policies and protocols, including patient and medication scanning procedures.
- Utilize electronic medical records (Meditech) and new equipment to deliver efficient patient care.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Kansas nursing license.
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, ENPC, NIH certifications required.
- Experience in a large facility (52 beds or more) preferred.
- Experience working in a busy ER or travel nursing preferred.
- Proficiency with Meditech EMR system.
- Ability to handle a fast-paced environment and diverse patient population.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- TNCC certification.
- Experience with pediatric procedures and sedation.
- Prior work experience in an ER with 52+ beds or larger.
- Experience with new hospital technology and equipment.
