Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and assist in surgical procedures ensuring adherence to protocols
- Maintain sterilization and infection control standards in the operating room
- Assist surgeons and nursing staff during surgeries
- Ensure proper instrument sterilization and inventory management
- Follow staff schedules and comply with hospital policies
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of Surgical Technician experience
- Certified Surgical Technologist (NBSTSA)
- BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours including major and minor holidays
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience with surgical procedures in hospital settings
- Strong knowledge of sterilization techniques and surgical equipment
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
