Full-time, 12-hour day shifts, rotating weekends, on-site
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive labor and delivery nursing care in a high-volume obstetric unit, supporting approximately 80+ births per month.
- Deliver couplet care, including postpartum and newborn care for babies 32 weeks and above.
- Assist with OR, PACU, and postpartum duties, ensuring safe and evidence-based patient care.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create a compassionate, patient-centered birth experience.
- Support the team during call rotations, participating in scheduled and on-call shifts as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Current Colorado RN license or valid compact license for practice in Colorado
- American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications in good standing
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
- STABLE certification
- Up-to-date flu vaccination (no exemptions)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous labor and delivery nursing experience, preferably in a busy, high-volume setting
- Experience working with evidenced-based care practices and team collaboration
- Ability to adapt to rotating shifts and call duties
