Key Responsibilities
- Provide therapeutic services to patients in a behavioral health inpatient setting.
- Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans for individuals with behavioral health needs.
- Manage cases involving detox, low acuity patients with suicidal ideation, anxiety, and depression.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure continuous patient care.
- Adhere to all compliance requirements and complete documentation accurately.
- Float to sister units as needed to cover absences, maintaining continuous assessment and care.
Required Qualifications
- NC State Social Work License (LCSW) in hand at time of submission.
- BLS certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in behavioral health or related fields.
- Experience with EPIC electronic health record system.
- Ability to work in a federal/state/county health setting and psychiatric hospital environment.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous experience working in crisis centers, detox units, or low acuity inpatient behavioral health units.
- Experience with managing patients with suicidal ideation, mild anxiety, and depression.
- Flexibility to work five days per week, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
