  • Full-time, 16-32 week assignment, days shifts, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours per shift

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide respiratory therapy care to patients across all age groups, including ICU and ED floors.
  • Maintain and operate mechanical ventilators and other respiratory equipment, including Hamilton C3 and T1 Ventilators, V60 NIV, Airvo 2, and F&P Heated HFNC.
  • Collaborate with Pulmonary Critical Care physicians and hospital staff to develop and implement ventilator and airway management protocols.
  • Document all patient care activities accurately in EPIC electronic medical record system, ensuring compliance with facility standards.
  • Work approximately every other weekend and participate in holiday coverage as needed, including select major holidays such as Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Day.
  • Assist with external transports for adult critical care patients and perform unit-specific procedures as required.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as a Respiratory Therapist, with neonatal and pediatric experience significant to the role.
  • Recent EPIC electronic health record experience (within past 2 years) is mandatory.
  • Ability to work self-scheduled shifts via “When to Work” scheduling platform.
  • Reliable transportation with all-season or snow tires from November through April, as public transportation is not available in the area.

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • Experience in a Level 2 trauma hospital setting
  • Prior travel or cross-unit therapy experience preferred
  • Familiarity with invasive monitoring and external transport protocols for critical care
