Registered Nurse Telemetry

Job Title
• Registered Nurse - Telemetry

Location
• Lexington, KY

Schedule / Job Type
• Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week, full-time

Key Responsibilities
• Provide patient care in a telemetry unit, including interpreting and managing dysrhythmias
• Implement non-invasive airway management and oxygen protocols
• Manage peripheral lines and ensure proper infection control precautions (PPE, isolation)
• Document patient information accurately using computerized systems
• Activate rapid response team as needed
• Maintain appropriate nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:5

Required Qualifications
• Minimum 1 year of experience in telemetry nursing
• EPIC electronic medical record experience required
• Valid KY or Compact nursing license
• BLS certification
• Experience in dysrhythmia interpretation and management
• Knowledge of oxygen protocols, airway management, and infection control procedures

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience working nights and weekends on a rotation schedule
