Job Title
• Registered Nurse - IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, rotating shifts (3x12-hour shifts per week)

Key Responsibilities
• Provide specialized nursing care to patients in intermediate care, progressive care, or stepdown units.
• Monitor patient vital signs, administer medications, and document patient progress accurately.
• Recognize and respond promptly to patient health changes, including EKG rhythm recognition.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Adhere to hospital policies, safety protocols, and compliance standards.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities.

Required Qualifications
• Minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in the specialty area prior to travel.
• 18 months of recent experience in cardiac stepdown or related units; travel experience counts.
• Valid Ohio or Compact State Registered Nurse license.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
• NIH certification required.
• Ability to pass ECG rhythm recognition and SafeMedicate assessments during orientation with acceptable scores.

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience in PCU or progressive care units is a plus.
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including every other holiday.
• Familiarity with electronic documentation systems such as Qualivis – Lotus.
