Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, Night shift, 3 shifts per week, 12-hour shifts
Key Responsibilities
- Provide patient care in a Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit during night shifts
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, including ECG rhythm recognition
- Administer medications and treatments following healthcare protocols
- Complete safeMedicate assessments during orientation
- Ensure accurate documentation of patient care and interventions
- Collaborate with healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 18 months recent Med/Surg/Telemetry experience in a permanent role prior to travel
- Valid Ohio license or license from a Compact state
- BLS and ACLS certifications required, willing to obtain NIHSS prior to start
- Ability to pass ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation
- One recent reference from a manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty field (Charge RN references accepted)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience with ECG rhythm analysis and telemetry monitoring
- Familiarity with hospital electronic health record systems
