Rotating shifts, full-time, 12-hour shifts
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to telemetry patients in a 20-bed unit, including med-surg and step-down assignments
- Cover rotating day/night shifts with every other weekend schedule, rotating within the same week
- Float between medical-surgical and step-down units as needed
- Adhere to staffing ratios of 5:1 for medical-surgical assignments
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and care quality
- Follow all hospital policies and procedures to maintain compliance and safety standards
Required Qualifications
- Massachusetts RN license and BLS certification (AHA) required
- ACLS certification (AHA) preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant nursing experience in a telemetry or similar setting
- Ability to commit to rotating 12-hour shifts and weekend rotations
- BILH coverage sheet required at time of submission
- Separation of at least 6 months from BILH to be considered (for perm, per diem, or contract roles)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with telemetry monitoring and step-down care
- Strong critical thinking and patient management skills
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment
