Job Title

Schedule / Job Type

• Travel, Days shift, approximately 36 hours per week, 13-week assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional emergency care to patients across all age groups in a busy hospital setting.
• Float to various units and hospitals as needed, maintaining flexibility and adaptability.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and support staff to deliver comprehensive emergency services.
• Ensure patient safety and quality of care in a fast-paced environment.
• Adhere to hospital policies and comply with all clinical protocols and standards.

Required Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing (ADN) or higher.
• Valid Registered Nurse license for the State of Alabama or a compact license (No temporary licenses accepted).
• Active certifications: AHA ACLS, BLS or Red Cross, PALS, and NIH.
• Must hold TNCC certification.
• Minimum of 18 months of experience working in an emergency department or critical care setting, with at least 1 year of experience in the ER.
• Ability to float to different units/hospitals as required.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience working in a Level III Trauma Center or Level II Stroke Center.
• Proficiency in Meditech electronic medical records.
• Strong team collaboration skills and ability to adapt to unit needs.
