Registered Nurse Dialysis

- Full-time, Days shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive dialysis nursing care to patients in a hospital setting
- Monitor patient responses and manage treatment adjustments during dialysis procedures
- Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure safe and effective patient care
- Document patient treatment and progress accurately in electronic health records
- Participate in patient education and support regarding dialysis treatments
Required Qualifications
- Valid South Carolina or Compact RN license in hand prior to start
- Minimum of 1 year of acute dialysis experience
- BLS certification required
- Knowledge of Fresenius 2008T equipment or similar dialysis machines preferred
Preferred Experience / Skills
- ACLS certification preferred
- Experience with Mobile Reverse Osmosis Machines is a plus
Shift Details
- Dayshift, 12-hour shifts, scheduled 3 days per week (Monday-Saturday)
- Every other weekend work required
- On-call shifts: 2 weekday evening call shifts every 4 weeks and 1 evening call shift every 4 weeks
Additional Information
- Facility is a Level I Trauma Center and teaching hospital with 820 beds
- Scrub color: Royal Blue
- Charting system: Epic
- Parking available for nights and weekends, $20 parking pass payable during those times
- Travelers should note hurricane season runs from June to November; emergency response assignments may be required during this period
Note: Local candidates are welcome and accepted with a 10% bill rate reduction. RTO requests must be included at submission; approval based on facility needs. Guaranteed hours include one call-off per two weeks.
