Job Title
• Polysomnographer / Sleep Technologist
Location
• Salida, CO
Schedule / Job Type
• Part-time, 36 hours per week, rotating shifts including nights and some weekends and holidays
Key Responsibilities
• Prepare, calibrate, and manage sleep study equipment, including electrodes and sensors, ensuring proper functionality
• Conduct sleep studies such as MSST, MWT, parasomnia studies, PAP, and oxygen titration while monitoring data quality
• Collect, analyze, and document patient information, variables, and patient responses during testing
• Score sleep and related events according to professional guidelines and generate detailed reports
• Provide patient education and support throughout the testing process, including device fitting and safety interventions
• Maintain equipment, follow safety protocols, and uphold infection control standards
Required Qualifications
• Successful completion of a polysomnography program from a licensed or accredited institution or BRPT A-STEP certification
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (R.P.S.G.T) certification preferred
• Experience with NOX software is advantageous
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Prior experience with sleep labs and conducting various sleep studies
• Ability to adjust and calibrate sleep monitoring equipment effectively
• Strong documentation and communication skills
• Flexibility to work additional nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
