Key Responsibilities

• Assist in elective and emergent surgeries across various specialties including orthopedics, gynecology, robotics, urology, general, ENT, and spine.
• Prepare operating rooms and ensure sterile environments for surgical procedures.
• Support surgical teams during procedures, providing necessary instruments and supplies.
• Handle both routine and complex surgeries, specializing in total joint and orthopedic cases.
• Participate in weekend call shifts (approximately 5-6 per 6-week period).
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to hospital protocols.

Required Qualifications

• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred; BLS certification required.
• Minimum of 2 years of surgical tech experience, with prior travel experience.
• Heavy experience in total joint and orthopedic surgeries.
• Proficiency with EMR systems, specifically Epic.
• Must be a team player with strong motivation to stay on task and assist others as needed.
• Flexibility to work 10-hour shifts.
• Willingness to participate in weekend call shifts.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience with robotic-assisted surgeries.
• Experience in a hospital setting with a focus on orthopedic and spine cases.
• Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
