Schedule / Job Type
- Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, full-time, permanent position
Key Responsibilities
- Provide patient care in a Medical Surgical and Telemetry setting at a prominent hospital
- Monitor and interpret ECG rhythms, ensuring timely and accurate responses
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders
- Document patient information thoroughly and accurately
- Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Complete medication administration and assessments during orientation
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 18 months recent permanent experience in Medical Surgical/Telemetry nursing
- Ohio license or Compact State license in hand
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Ability to recognize ECG rhythms and perform related assessments
- Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition and safe medication assessments during orientation
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience working in a hospital setting
- Knowledge of electronic health records and documentation systems
