Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care to patients in the operating room setting.
• Assist surgical teams during various procedures across multiple specialties.
• Maintain strict adherence to safety and sterilization protocols.
• Manage patient assessments and monitor patient status throughout surgeries.
• Collaborate effectively with surgical, anesthesia, and support staff.
• Ensure accurate documentation of procedures and patient care activities.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Kansas or a Compact-state license.
• BLS certification.
• At least 1 year of OR nursing experience with proficiency in at least one of the following specialties: ENT (including trach/awake, head/neck flaps, ears, soft tissue cases), Neuro (burr holes, craniotomy), or Surgical Oncology.
• Availability for 4 shifts per week, each 10 hours long.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Proficiency in all three specialties mentioned above.
• Experience floating between different ORs.
• Flexibility to work days without on-call requirements; occasional holiday work may be required.
