Registered Nurse - Rehabilitation

Schedule / Job Type
3 nights per week, 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide inpatient rehabilitation care for patients with neurological, orthopedic, or surgical needs, including stroke, TBI, ABI, spinal cord injuries, and post-op surgical cases
- Perform patient assessments, vital sign monitoring, and medication reconciliation
- Conduct dressing changes and set up aseptic/sterile procedure trays
- Collect and label laboratory specimens; perform phlebotomy and specimen collection (throat, urine)
- Interpret laboratory results and assist with patient triage via telephone
- Coordinate patient care documentation, including health histories and allergy information
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of acute care rehab experience
- Active RN license
- BLS certification
- Familiarity with EPIC electronic medical records system
- Ability to interpret laboratory results and perform phlebotomy
- Experience with medication reconciliation, patient assessments, and vital sign monitoring
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working with neurological and rehabilitation patient populations (e.g., stroke, aneurysm, post-op surgical patients)
- Knowledge of inpatient rehab protocols and patient nursing care standards
