Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency nursing care in a busy Emergency Room setting.
• Work rotating day/night shifts, including weekends and holidays, with flexibility to meet unit needs.
• Maintain compliance with all clinical protocols and documentation standards.
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and satisfaction.
• Adhere to all hospital policies, including mandatory certifications and continuing education requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Current AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications (TNCC and NIHSS required prior to start).
• A minimum of 2 years of ER nursing experience, preferably in large, teaching facilities.
• Recent experience with EPIC EMR (within past 2 years).
• Prior travel experience preferred; candidates with experience in major teaching hospitals and multiple ERs may have requirements waived.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts on a rotating schedule, including holidays.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• CEN, ENPC, MOAB, ProAct, or other de-escalation training (e.g., CPS).
• Experience working in ERs with 500+ beds or in teaching hospitals.

Additional Information

• Assignment start date: December 1, for 16-32 weeks.
• Travel rate: $105/hr; local rate: $95/hr within 50 miles; 51-100 miles: $100/hr.
• Shifts: 12-hour rotating day/night, 3 shifts per week.
• Bi-weekly orientation on Mondays; all employment gaps over 90 days must be explained.
• Reliable transportation required; personal or rental vehicle suggested, with appropriate tires for winter months.
• All work history details (hospital size, EMR systems, facility type) must be complete for submission.
