Key Responsibilities

• Provide bedside nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU setting.
• Monitor and interpret telemetry, hemodynamics, and ventilator parameters.
• Administer medications, including titration of vesicant meds, pressors, sedation, and paralytics.
• Perform procedures such as cardioversion, central line insertion, chest tube management, and other ICU-specific interventions.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Document patient assessments and treatments accurately within the Cerner electronic health system.

Required Qualifications

• ICU nursing experience required.
• Proficiency with ventilators, trachs, telemetry interpretation, and hemodynamic monitoring.
• Experience with titration of vesicant medications, pressors, sedation, and paralytics.
• Knowledge of transvenous pacing, PA catheter setup, cardioversion, and TEE procedures.
• Demonstrated ability to interpret telemetry and hemodynamic data.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Certification in CCRN preferred.
• Experience with IABP, Impella, and CRRT is desirable.
• Familiarity with chest tube placement and maintenance.
• Advanced skills in managing complex ICU patients with various life support devices.

Additional Information

• No specific certifications required, but CCRN is recommended.
• Uniform dress code: Navy or Navy and White scrubs.
• Start date: 12/15/2025 for a 13-week assignment.
